How much does it cost to hire a composer or sound designer?

generally, the cost will depend on the minutes of music or sound but it’s always a case by case basis. for example, maybe you need a pack of 10 sound effects in which case it would be a fixed price for the bundle. in short, it depends on what you’re looking for!
What is the difference between sound design and foley?

in short, sound design is the general term used to describe all forms of audio engineering. it can be anything from creating digital musical instruments, to layering and adding effects to recorded sounds. foley is the specific art of syncing sound to visuals by “performing“ with the objects that will make the sounds. there are some cool videos on youtube that you can check out which show the work of foley artists live!
Can you match or recreate this reference track?

reference tracks are a great place to start and they are one of the best ways to make sure we are both on the same page. i have no problem emulating different styles of music or taking inspiration from pre-existing pieces but i will never make a 1-to-1 copy of another piece of music for both of our sake.
Can you show me examples of your work similar to my project?

of course! reach out and tell me about your project and i can send you a sample of my work if there’s nothing here that aligns with your needs. most of my published work happens to be star wars related but music and sound design are skills that envelop all genres and forms of media. reach out and i’d be happy to send you a sample before you make your decision!
i make it a priority to get on a call with you to confirm exactly what you’re looking before the project begins and send regular updates throughout the process but if you are not satisfied with anything within the scope of work after completion i am more than happy to go back and revise at no extra cost. my priority is your satisfaction!
